Amber grinned at Liv, shaking her head and reaching for the baby. She very carefully helped the other woman transition her son back into her arms and smiled down at Brody briefly who cooed and giggled once he realized he was back in his mother's arms. She beamed down at him. "Hey handsome man, you're my date again," she told him with a soft laugh. She gave the baby his pacifier, which she'd retrieved moments ago, before smiling at the others. "Thanks for your help," she said to Liv, still deciding that she'd try to make an honest effort to improve her relationship with the other woman.

Turning to Brandon, she smiled brightly at him before turning to Brody. "Who's that? Is that Daddy?"

Parker observed Brandon and Amber with their son for a moment before turning to Liv. He'd seen the skeptical look on her face and he smiled at her. He didn't want to think that he was getting ahead of himself. He thought maybe what it came down to was that - years ago he didn't really know what he wanted with his future and the idea of having a kid too soon or even at all would have worried him. But he figured now that if the situation arose, he wouldn't be upset in the slightest. He was willing to be patient, but he really did want everything with Liv.

Brandon gave a small laugh at the baby as he seemed to brighten at the sight of his mother, and at the sound of it, Brody's attention seemed to turn to him as well. The happy, smiling baby caused a little tug at his heartstrings again and he was reminded of how much things had changed even just since the little boy's birth. The drama that the four of them seemed to have made part of their day-to-day for so long seemed to pale considerably when he thought about where they were now. Parker and Olivia were getting married, he and Amber had this amazing baby in their lives now, and though she didn't know it, the proposal that he was planning was sure to finally prove that it had all been worth it.

"Hey, buddy," he said to the baby in Amber's arms. At the sound of his voice, Brody seemed to smile around the pacifier in his mouth.

Liv couldn't help but unconsciously smile at the family in front of her. It was almost ridiculous how everything in all of their lives had completely turned around since they had been teenagers, and she had to admit that it was endearing to see that people like Brandon and Amber were doing well. "We don't have to take up any more of your time," she said, feeling as though they were interrupting family time for these three. "We just wanted to come say hello considering these things are normally so bloody stuffy," she added with a soft laugh.

Amber beamed down at Brody as he seemed to focus in on his father's voice. She chewed on her lip and watched the way Brody looked at him. She glanced back up at Liv and nodded. "I know, these things are dull. It's why we came with our own personal excuse to leave early," she laughed, gesturing to the baby. "It was good to see you, thanks for your help with Brody," she added sincerely.

Parker offered his hand to Brandon as his arm wrapped around Liv. "Good seeing you, Finn. Thanks for your help with John," he chuckled before glancing at Liv. "Should we get ourselves another drink, make a few social rounds and call it a night ourselves?" he suggested.
