It wasn't hard to imagine what it was going to be like a year from now, maybe even two years from now when they were finally comfortable in some sort of routine with the baby. He still had every intention of taking Amber out to dinner, to having nights where they just curled up on the couch and watched a movie, mornings where she tried to explain to him why waffles were the superior food and how the New York Times had made an error in the crossword puzzle. And maybe, with Cassidy's help, and probably the help of a nanny, things really didn't have to change that much. Brandon didn't have any brothers and sisters, and he hadn't spent much time with the children in his extended family and so he wasn't sure exactly what he had to look forward to with his own kid, but he assumed that eventually it would be pretty great too.
He nodded at Cassidy, "Please. You can send over all of the information to my secretary and she can get it added to my calendar." Smiling at Amber as she rejoined them, he squeezed her hand softly, "Just Cassidy getting excited about babysitting."

Amber smiled warmly at Brandon, feeling grateful that they'd agreed to tell Cassidy first and to tell her together. While sometimes she felt like her assistant went a little overboard with how much she supported Amber's relationship with Brandon - there was a hashtag, after all, she was grateful to have a friend that supported her so unconditionally. She laughed softly, "I like that you both like to plan ahead," she nodded.
Cassidy grinned at both of them. "If you're not going to name the baby after me, can I at least be Aunt Cassidy?" she asked with a bright smile.
