Morgan honestly hadn't meant for it to happen. She'd promised Ellie she wouldn't really get involved. But then she'd been in the locker room during gym class and heard a few of the girls talking about her sister, apparently word was spreading that she'd slept with Will Blye. And even more apparently, Will Blye was the one who was spreading that word. Frowning, Morgan made a stop at her locker, shoving her things inside and taking out her phone, she texted her sister and asked her to pick her up a book that she'd left on the other side of the school, deciding that her sister should be as far away from all of this as possibly. Once her things were put away, she closed her locker and surveyed the hallway. She spotted Will about twenty feet away, he was laughing with his friends and they were talking in hushed tones and she didn't have to be a genius to guess that he was running his mouth some more about Ellie.
The redhead was functioning on about thirty hours without sleep, she was exhausted and cranky. More than that, she was coming off what was honestly the worst week in her seventeen years of life and the one person she would normally go to about it other than Ellie was actually the source of her distress. She hadn't had a real conversation with Brody in over a week. And so Will disrespecting her sister hit a little close to home for her and served as her breaking point. "Will!" she called out across the hallway, walking over to him. She ignored the snickers of his friends.
Will glanced up, smirking at his mates and tilting his head. "Oi, maybe she's looking to offer me the collector's set, have always been curious about twins," he remarked.

Brody had heard the rumors that had started to circulate around the school. He had to say that he had been surprised to hear about Ellie Tyler's own extra curricular activities on Halloween, and even more surprised when he heard that it had been with Will Blye. Brody wasn't a big fan of people who tended to run their mouth, but there also tended to just be something that he couldn't pinpoint that made him truly dislike Will. But ultimately, this circumstance was the perfect example of why he disliked the other man. Even more so, it had become problematic when Will has started talking about one of the Tyler girls behind their backs. Aside from the fact that Brody had known both of them for as long as he could remember, there was still a part of him that really wanted to be there from Morgan in whatever way that he could. It seemed like their dispute had gone on for weeks now and he had to keep reminding himself that it had really been less than two weeks.
He had been dropping some books off to his locker when he heard Morgan call out to Will from across the hall. Brody closed his locker and turned to watch and see how things played out, just in case Morgan had also heard the rumors. When he heard Will's remark, he opted to move a little bit closer just in case something happened.

"'lo luv. Come to see what all the hype is about?" Will asked smugly. "Want to share the wealth with your sister, because you know it's a bit kinky, but I'm-"
Morgan had heard enough, her hands curled into a fist and she reared it back before taking her swing. She'd been aiming for his jaw, really the poetic justice of punching him in the mouth to warn him to keep his shut. But he moved and so her fist connected with his nose, an oddly satisfying crunch. "If I hear you say a word about my sister again, I'm going to beat the living shit out of you. You slimy little weasel, you're going to tell everyone you lied about her, or I swear to God!" She wasn't actually sure that Will was paying attention, what with the blood now pouring out of his nose.

Brody saw it coming but by the time he was able to make it over to Morgan, it was too late. She had already thrown a punch at Will, connecting fiercely with his nose. He couldn't blame her for the way that he was sure that she was feeling, but now certainly wasn't the right place, and during the course of the school day wasn't the right time. Stepping in front of her, blocking her ability to either land another punch or say anything that could ultimately come back to haunt her, Brody placed his hands on her shoulders, making her look at him for a moment. "Morgan, that's enough. Just stop before it gets worse."
He wanted to tell her that he understood why she did it, that he wished that he could have hit Will too for the things that were said, but he also knew that things had the potential of imploding now into something much, much worse.

Morgan frowned when she found Brody standing in front of her. Her hand hurt. Literally it was throbbing. It wasn't because she couldn't throw a punch but he'd moved and she hadn't been expecting to his his nose.
"Crazy bitch!" Will exclaimed, even as he covered his hand with his nose while his friends scrambled to make sure he was okay. "If I knew you were this feisty, maybe I would have picked a different Tyler sis-"
"Watch your mouth before I crack your jaw open!" Morgan shouted, trying to move past Brody.

Brody kept his hands firmly planted on her shoulders to keep her from moving back toward Will. At Will's own outburst of name calling and allusions, Brody opted to more forcibly keep Morgan in place as she argued back. He didn't really know what sort of role he was meant to be playing in this all, but he knew that he wanted to keep Morgan from finding herself in any more trouble than she was already in. He had no idea what the punishment was going to be for breaking someone's nose at school, but he could imagine that it wasn't going to be good, no matter what it was. And Morgan was much too smart and much too ambitious to do anything to jeopardize her future.
"Morgan, we should get out of here."

Morgan frowned up at Brody, shaking her head at him. "Everyone saw, I'm in trouble no matter what. You should go before you get dragged into this," she said gently, not looking at him. "He hurt Ellie, Brody," she muttered. "It's not right," she shook her head. "I would do it again."
Instead, as the adrenaline wore off, she looked down at her hand. "Ow," she muttered, examining it for a moment. Her eyebrows furrowed and she bit her lip.

Brody looked down at her hand and frowned, taking it in his own for a minute, suddenly feeling a bit more sympathetic and affectionate toward her. He was sure that it was just residual emotions left over from their relationship, whatever it was, but they still tugged at him uncomfortably. Looking up at her, continued to frown softly. "I'm fine," he dismissed. "I'm not going anywhere."
Fighting the urge to reach up and place his hand on the side of her face, he instead opted to retrieve his hands from her all together, figuring that it was really the safest bet for them both. "I know that he hurt her, but I think he's feeling at least a little sorry about that right now."

Morgan sighed softly, when Brody took her hand and biting her lip. When he pulled away though, she was pulled back to reality and she hated it. For a few brief almost blissful moments, she'd been able to focus on her sister's pain instead of her own. Now, standing here in the middle of the hallway with Brody, she realized just how much she'd been avoiding him and how she felt about the whole thing. "Not sorry enough," she said gently.
"Brody, you shouldn't be here," she muttered.
She was vaguely aware of the fact that she was about to be hauled down to the Principal's office and knew how serious it was. Part of her wished that circumstances were different, because the compelling need to cry had her wanting nothing more than to hug Brody - her best friend. But everything was different now.
"You're going to get fucking expelled for this, Tyler," Will warned angrily.

Brody hadn't even given the thought of leaving a chance before they were all pulled down to the Principal's office. He did, however, protest that he hadn't done anything that justified him being pulled to the office with everyone else. But at the same time, he felt like he might need to be there for Morgan, for moral support. At the mention that their parents were all on their way down here to discuss what had occurred, he sighed heavily. Having his parents dragged into this was the last thing that he wanted.
Brandon had been less than pleased when he received a call that he needed to head over to Brody's school due to an incident that had occurred. Brody had never been the sort to have behavioral problems at school, nor had he ever really gotten in trouble like this before. But once he had been made aware that it was Morgan Tyler who had been fighting, he supposed that things made much more sense, considering the fact that Brandon was sure that his son had been trying to protect her. Either way, it seemed that there were consequences to his actions, and so he arranged to put the rest of his meetings on hold for the day. He met Amber in the lobby, hoping that at the very least they could provide a united front toward whatever was happening.

Amber was less than pleased. She'd spent five minutes on the phone threatening the school before resigning herself to cancel her meetings for the day and making her way to the school. She met Brandon in the lobby, leaning up to kiss him quickly on the lips. "Hello, dear," she greeted teasingly. "It's been a long time since we've been called into the principal's office together." She sighed, "Let's just get him out of the woods, we can punish him when we're home," she nodded. She smoothed out her husband's tie and grinned at him before turning to the secretary. "Amber and Brandon Finn here for some asinine pointless reason that makes us feel we should have sent our son and our yearly donation to the annual fund to a school on the Upper West Side, thank you," she nodded before waiting to be directed inside.
Riley Tyler was none too pleased to be called down to the school because apparently her daughter had been fighting. Morgan had inherited a temper that sometimes went beyond anything near how she or her husband could get. Their normally well behaved daughter had gotten into scuffles before, usually on behalf of her sister. Still, Riley was none to pleased to see how this was going to go. Meeting Adam in front of the school, she only let out a deep sigh and took his hand. "I just wanted to make it to Christmas without being called in here," she joked.

Brandon grinned at his wife, trying to remember what the last time they were in the principal's office was like. He assumed it was probably for being caught doing something elicit in a classroom when they should have been in class, or they might have actually made it until after school. Unfortunately, this was promising to be a lot less exciting, and much less worth the trouble, than it had been when they were in their son's shoes. He might have even been mildly amused at the idea of having to come down here to get Brody out of a situation like that, but this was something else entirely. But of course, there still seemed to be a girl caught in the middle of it.
Smirking at the way that Amber greeted the secretary, he reached for her hand and pulled her closer to him, leaning down to her ear so that he could speak quietly to her. "We might have some time before we have to in there, we could always see if we can find an empty classroom," he told her teasingly. Pulling away enough to press a quick kiss to her lips, he sighed softly. "I hope this isn't a complete waste of time."
Adam shook his head at Riley, having gone through the trouble of clearing his own schedule to find some time to get over to Morgan's school. He did have to admit, he was curious about the specifics behind this incident in particular. Generally he could count on Morgan being responsible for getting them called into the office on account of some protest she conducted, but never for fighting. Most of his intrigue was stifled by disappointment, however. Squeezing Riley's hand softly, he led them down the familiar path to the principal's office. "At least we made it past Halloween," he offered, figuring that at least there was a small bright side to the entire ordeal. Spotting Brandon and Amber Finn already in the office he knew that there was actually probably a lot more to the situation with their children than he had originally suspected.

Parker had practically flown out of his office the moment he'd gotten a call about his son being hurt, not even bothering to ask a question. It was only when he arrived in the office and took in the scene, the other students present and their parents that he scowled, walking over to his son, he placed his hands on the side of his head and examined his face. "What the bloody hell kind of school are you people running here?" he asked angrily. "How in God's name did it happen and why is that girl even allowed on school grounds?" To some extent, he was surprised that it was Morgan Tyler sitting in the other chair. Despite all of their previous misgivings as kids and even adults, he knew the Tylers and their children well enough to know that this was behavior atypical of the redheaded girl. He knew he was going to have to have a serious talk with Liv and with Will when they returned home, but until then he was playing the role of concerned and outraged father.
Amber smiled softly at her husband before walking inside of the office and taking a look at the three students sitting there. William Blye had bandages over his nose, Morgan Tyler had an ice pack on her hand, and Brody was sitting along side them. She coughed to cover her mouth and hide her expression as she pieced together exactly what had happened, turning her head into Brandon's shoulder, she composed herself and then looked at her son. She stepped closer to him, examining him. "Are you hurt?" she asked with legitimate concern.
Riley stared at William Blye's face in horror. It wasn't until Parker went on the offensive that she scowled. "I highly doubt anyone is entirely innocent in this situation," she replied, coming to her daughter's defense instantly. "But Parker brings up a good question, how did this happen?"
Morgan frowned, staring down. She lifted the ice pack to examine the bruises on her fingers. "Brody didn't do anything," she said for what felt like the hundredth time since they'd been brought into the office. "His parents shouldn't even be here, he shouldn't be in trouble." She looked up at her parents, waving her good hand at him. "I hit Will," she stated flat out. She knew there were a dozen witnesses to attest to that. "Everyone who was there can tell you I hit Will and Brody is the reason I didn't hit him again, so Brody deserves some sort of medal of valor and to go home now," she was annoyed and irritated that she had to be in the same room as him for this long and had done her very best not to even address him directly.
The principal pinched the bridge of his nose, he really didn't get paid enough to deal with situations like this.

Brandon nudged Amber a little, trying to stifle whatever giggles threatened to spill out with the image of Parker and Olivia's son being hit by Morgan Tyler. He had to say, from what he had witnessed so far, he was impressed by whatever strength she had been able to muster up in order to break the poor young man's nose in the manner that it had been. He was sure that it probably hurt immensely, and it would probably bruise terribly. Amber moved closer to Brody to make sure that Morgan hadn't turned on him as well and so Brandon hung back in the soon-to-be-crowded room and waited to hear how exactly their son fit into all of this.
Brody shook his head at his mother, "No, I'm fine. I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." But the truth was that he felt like he had actually been exactly where he had needed to be when Morgan threw a punch at Will. He was just sorry he hadn't been able to stop it sooner and help them to avoid whatever consequences they were about to face. He felt particularly bad for Morgan, knowing that from the sheer nature of it all that she was going to get the brunt of the punishment.
The principal sighed at the ruckus that was beginning to break out. "Fighting is a serious offense at this school and any time a fight does happen to break out, it's policy to bring in all involved students. Mr. Finn happened to have been involved, however indirectly Miss Tyler claims it was. Again, it's just a matter of school policy to get down to the bottom of it to make sure that it doesn't happen again."
Adam was really less concerned about the damage that his daughter had inflicted on William Blye and was instead wondering what the young man could have possibly said or done that would have pushed Morgan over the edge. "Morgan, what exactly happened?" he prompted, hoping that she would at least have a very good reason for why she reacted the way that she did.
Upon hearing that Will had been involved in a fight at school and in turn had gotten hurt, Liv had rushed over to the school. She must have been the last person on the list to call because upon entering the principal's office she found all involved parties already present, including her husband. Gasping at her son's face, she hastened over to him to survey the damage. Taking note of the Tylers and their eldest daughter in the room, as well as the Finns, she thought that she could piece together what happened, but she was still surprised to see that Will was the only one who had seemingly been hurt. "Someone bloody well better explain to me what happened," she demanded forcefully. "Are you all right?" she asked her son softly.

Amber examined her son, not quite taking him at his word. But once she was sure he was fine, she shook her head and frowned a bit, stepping back and walking closer to Brandon, her hand finding his. She decided it was best to remain quiet. When Liv flew into the room like a bat out of hell, she once again tried very hard to stifle her amusement at the situation. It wasn't that she thought the fight was acceptable or that Will deserved to be hurt, but who would have thought that these six people would find themselves here with their three kids in this specific situation.
"Mum, it's really not that big of a deal," Will winced when both of his parents had entered the room.
Morgan looked up at her father. "Well, you see," she started. "I missed."
"You missed?" the principal echoed. "I don't understand."
"I was aiming for his jaw and he moved, so I hit him in the nose. It really made the entire situation a lot messier than I intended it to be," she glanced down at her hand and frowned. "And he has a very hard nose," then she looked at Will's face, amending her statement. "Well, not that hard, apparently. Anyway, I was aiming for his jaw because it would have meant a lot more, symbolically to punch him in the mouth than in the nose. I didn't want him to shut his nose, obviously, that would be odd." She took a moment and then looked at her father. "I had a good reason, I just can't tell you what it is."
