Riley couldn't actually believe it. With all of the months spent balancing wedding planning and work, Riley had found herself and Adam arguing and needing to compromise more than she'd anticipated. But even with a few bumps along the way, they'd made it to Mexico with their friends, family and about a hundred people that Adam's parents had invited who she still wasn't familiar with. And they were married. During the ceremony, Riley found it almost hard to remember what they'd really fought over before, because all that she felt mattered was the fact that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.
At the ceremony, her hand firmly in Adam's, she tugged him aside, taking a few moments break from thanking their guests for coming to take a moment with him. She beamed, placing her hands on the side of his face. "Hi, Mr. Tyler," she giggled softly, probably a bit too giddy to be 'Riley Tyler,' but she didn't care. It was her wedding day and no one could tell her otherwise.
Smiling up at Adam, she tilted her head softly. "No second thoughts, right?" she asked teasingly. Just past him, she spotted her father, twirling her younger cousin around the dance floor, Maddy with Cooper, no doubt mentally planning bits of her own wedding, and Brandon with a now definitely pregnant-looking Amber.

Adam grinned at her, pleased that they had finally gotten to the stage in their relationship that they had been looking forward to for the last year or so. All of the fighting and arguments seemed to pale in comparison now that they had finally shared their vows and exchanged their rings. He pressed a kiss to her lips, unable to stop grinning at her. "Hi, Mrs. Tyler," he knew that it was cheesy and cliche, but he couldn't get over hearing it said. "No second thoughts at all. What about you?"
Maddy couldn't help but take note of everything that had made up Riley and Adam's wedding. From the destination to the dress and the decorations, now everything seemed to be in consideration for her own wedding next fall. She still couldn't get over it, and not just her own engagement. Riley was married. Her best friend had finally found the one person who truly completed her and made her happy and she was thrilled to be part of it. Standing beside Riley at the altar had caused her to feel so much more emotionally invested than she had expected. If she felt this overwhelmed about her best friend's wedding, she hated to think what her own was going to be like. Pleased to finally be at the reception, she sipped at a glass of wine, smiling at Cooper. "Getting any good ideas for when it's our turn?"
Brandon hadn't been entirely sure if they were going to be able to attend Riley's wedding with the baby's due date quickly approaching, let alone whether or not Amber would even want to attend. But she had agreed to go and had gotten approval from the doctor to do so, and as much as he hated to admit it, he was glad. Not only did she look absolutely beautiful, but it was nice to have maybe one last night out together before their son arrived. Giving her a soft smile, he reached down and squeezed her hand. "Are you having fun?" he questioned softly, knowing that it certainly wasn't an easy situation for her to be in at the moment, considering the fact that at six months pregnant, there probably weren't a lot of really comfortable situations to be in.

Riley shook her head and smiled at Adam, "Not a single one," she told him with a nod. She kissed him quickly and nodded, there was so much that she was excited about, including starting their lives together and starting a family. If there was anything that the recent reemergence of her mother had reminded her of, it was that Riley wanted to be a different kind of mother than her own had been and how important that was to her. She grinned up at him, "I am pretty excited about getting my husband all to myself later though," she added teasingly.
Cooper chuckled at Maddy with a grin, "I'm not really the creative type, Maddy," he advised her. "You know, whatever you want to happen when it's our turn - whatever makes you happy, will make me happy too." He nodded, "I mean, any decisions you need help with, I'm there. But I mean, I still couldn't even figure out how to tie my tie today," he joked, leaning down to kiss her. The truth was Cooper would be content to be told what to wear, when to be there, and where to stand on the day of their wedding. But he loved how excited Maddy got about it and wanted to do whatever he could to give her the dream wedding she deserved.
Amber, on the other hand, found that she actually had to try hard to maintain a certain facial expression all evening. It wasn't that she wasn't happy for Adam and Riley, she was. She blamed hormones on the fact that being at a wedding, surrounded by couples, and feeling particularly like a beached whale, was not her idea of a nice evening. Even the process of traveling at six months into her pregnancy had been cumbersome. Brandon seemed to be more or less aware of her discomfort in general and did his best to make sure she was having some sort of a good time. Which made her feel the need to lie. She nodded, smiling up at him. "Yes, the wedding was really beautiful," she said as though she hadn't considered bribing her doctor into saying she couldn't travel so she could hide in the Penthouse for the weekend. She squeezed his hand gently and reached for her water.

It was crazy to think that after all was said and done, Adam and his new wife were just getting started on the rest of their lives together. He had spent the majority of the day dwelling on that thought and for whatever reason it seemed to only make him more and more excited about finally getting to the aisle and saying their vows to each other. Had someone asked him years ago if he ever thought that he would get to this point with Riley, he was sure that he would have laughed. The girl who had flown under the radar in high school had first captured his interest in law school but after years of unrequited feelings for her, he had opted to just move on. Then when she had gotten engaged he had just assumed that she was happy and was carrying on in her life in the way that was meant to be, but he was so happy to have been wrong. Grinning at her, he couldn't help but bend down to kiss her again. "If we weren't surrounded by all of our friends and family I'm sure we could find a private spot for ourselves," he teased softly in her ear. "Was it everything that you were hoping that it would be?"
Maddy sighed softly, turning to watch her best friend with her new husband. She knew that she fundamentally had carte blanche to make sure that her own wedding was as wonderful and perfect and she could imagine, but the reality was that there were some things that she knew she wasn't going to have to plan out. Like the way that Adam kept looking at Riley, or the permanent fixture that seemed to be the redhead's smile. As cheesy as it seemed, Maddy had to admit that it seemed like a perfect fairy tale for her friends. Turning back to Cooper she gave him a smile before kissing him quickly. "You make me happy," she advised him, "So as long as you plan on attending our wedding, I think it'll be pretty perfect."
Brandon could sense that Amber's discomfort hadn't lessened, he just hoped that he wasn't the cause of it, or couldn't be blamed for it this time. It had been difficult to see the people around them getting engaged before they had, that much he knew. He hadn't given it much thought when Riley and Adam Tyler and gotten engaged for two major reasons: the first being the fact that they had known each other for a long time and it had really just seemed inevitable, the second being the fact that he hadn't had much of a friendship with either of them at the time. Cooper and Madison's engagement, on the other hand, had stung a little, considering the fact that his own relationship with Amber seemed to be ten times the length of their own. He had managed to stop his negative train of thought concerning that much in thanks to Cassidy, but with the wedding now underway, he couldn't help but feel like he needed to stop dragging his feet in the sand. Brandon had already decided that whatever he was going to do was going to wait until after the baby was born, and now that time was coming to a close too. Despite how miserable Amber sometimes seemed about the strains of pregnancy, he was starting to get excited about what their future was going to hold. Though he would never admit that to her. "It was," he agreed with a nod. Fighting back the urge to add "but ours will be better", he instead changed the subject. "How are you feeling?"

Riley smiled broadly up at Adam, nodding her head at him. In truth, she hadn’t known what she’d been expecting from a wedding. Unlike most little girls, including her best friend, she’d never really dreamt of what her wedding would be like. Even though there had been some bumps along the way in planning her wedding to Adam, the most important part of all of it was that she was in fact married to the person she loved most. A much different outcome than what she had faced less than a year ago when engaged to another man – one that didn’t love her and who she didn’t love in return. She tilted her head at Adam with a wide smile, “Everything and more.” She had to admit, the entire thing had come together really fantastically and she even got caught up in the nature of it herself. “The honeymoon has a lot of expectations to fill,” she told him teasingly, squeezing his hand and leaning up to kiss him quickly.
Cooper laughed heartily at Maddy’s comment, dipping his head down to kiss her and pull her closer to him. “Well, as long as I have the Save the Date, I think I can manage being in attendance,” he teased. “Though, I will say, you were a pretty brilliant maid of honor and now you’ll be an even better bride. Riley has big shoes to fill as a maid of honor,” he informed her. “Though, I also think that you’re just best at everything.”
When Brandon made the passing comment that their own wedding would be better, she turned to smile up at him, squeezing his hand gently. She sighed and shook her head, “I’m just tired is all. I think the baby has used up all of my energy, based on the amount he kicks I think he’s going to want to play soccer,” she quipped. “Which is hardly fair because he also limits my caffeine intake. He’s so grounded once he gets here.” She knew that another part of her frustration with being at a wedding right now was rooted in a completely different frustration. As her pregnancy progressed, her usual level of intimacy with her boyfriend had changed somewhat drastically in her opinion. She wasn’t complaining, though, she wouldn’t. It pushed too many of her own personal buttons and she had to admit she understood the way Brandon felt and didn’t want to make him feel guilty over it.

Adam laughed and grinned at his new wife. He couldn't stop saying that in his head, over and over again. He had to admit that it was starting to sound cheesy to say it out loud but he couldn't help but enjoy thinking of Riley as his wife. It felt like it had been a long time coming and after so much build-up, to finally be in this moment with her seemed almost too good to be true. "Oh? Well, I have to admit, that's the part of all of this that I've been looking forward to most of all. But," he added a little sadly. "We still have a reception full of people that we should probably thank for coming. You and I have the rest of our lives to spend together now."
Maddy beamed proudly. "Thank you," she kissed him quickly, finding it much too easy to get caught up in the romance of the whole occasion. If it had been anyone else's wedding, she felt as though she might have pulled Cooper away from the festivities and had gone directly to their hotel room, but she had to admit that she loved seeing her best friend so happy. "I think the whole thing is going to be pretty brilliant itself, I'm just excited for it now."
Brandon had reached a point where each frustration that Amber expressed about the pregnancy caused a slight feeling of guilt. It was probably in part because he felt responsible for putting her and her body through all of this, but also because it still felt like they had almost no time to prepare. No matter how many of the baby books they read or how much they bought to fill the baby's room with things they thought he was going to need, it still seemed like they had a hundred other things that still needed to be done. Including naming him. "Have you given anymore thought on what you might like to name him? Just so that it feels like we're grounding a real person and not the idea of one," he added teasingly. Besides, he hoped that getting her mind off of the wedding and the feeling of exhaustion that she was experiencing would be a good thing.

Riley giggled a bit at Adam, leaning up to kiss him once more and nodding. "Okay, fine," she sighed dramatically. "We can go talk to all these people that flew out to Mexico to watch us get married and brought us gifts," she sighed. "I guess that would be nice of us," she added with a soft chuckle, taking his hand and leading him over to their friends. She spotted Maddy and Cooper and knew that she owed her maid of honor a big thank you for helping with so much of the wedding planning and being there for her. She also knew that she would probably be all together useless in that capacity herself. She wasn't very good at the girly aspects of these things, but she thought maybe it would be easier to help Maddy than handle her own wedding when the attention had made her so uncomfortable. Plus, she was organized and detail driven and she thought maybe that would be a plus, too. "Maddy!" she exclaimed, pulling the brunette into a hug.
Cooper grinned as Riley all but tackled his fiancee into a hug before smiling at Adam. "Congratulations again, Adam." He was pleased that Riley and Adam were married now. It reminded him that he did eventually have to sit down both Adam and Brandon to ask them to be a part of his wedding party, but he wasn't quite sure how that would go. Given that Riley was Madison's maid of honor and Amber was a bridesmaid but Cooper planned on asking Brandon to be his best man and Adam to be a groomsman. He had a feeling at least one of them might have a bit of an issue with it.
Amber smiled softly when Brandon brought up the baby's name. "I'm still not sure," she admitted. "I liked Colin and Aiden and a couple of others. But it's so hard to think of a name before he's even here," she admitted. "Names are important - what if we name him something and it doesn't suit him. Names should come with a trial period."
