Mr. Finn,
After our conversation the other week, I reviewed some of the current and pending deals for Finn Industries according to publicly accessible records, and have attached my recommendations.
Please note that my primary recommendation for all of these underscores a need for a third party-led commission that should include a union representative, City Council Member, a member of your associate counsel, someone from your Board of Directors, and an outside consultant to serve as your counsel and press liason. Their primary responsibility would be to assess risk, liability, government affairs, and the impact on the public image of your company. I have also attached my personal recommendations for contacts and would be happy to recommend outside counsel, should you not wish to use your current outside counsel in that capacity.
Regards, Riley Nicholls

Riley,
After reviewing your recommendations, it is my own personal recommendation that you reconsider the opportunity that I presented to you to come work for Finn Industries. Considering the explanation that you've provided for an outside consultant, and the qualifications that I know you to possess, I think that you would be the best person for the role.
If necessary, we can schedule a time to negotiate salary and benefits before I put together the offer letter.
Thank you, Brandon Finn

Mr. Finn,
If you're interested in retaining me as an outside consultant, I would be happy to discuss the terms. I'd prefer to come on as a third-party, independent consultant. I'd eventually be looking to take on additional clients, none of which would be a conflict of interest for my work at Finn Industries, and I'll need some time to file the appropriate paper work at the state and federal level to do business as a consultant. However, if you're serious about this offer, then I'd like to talk about it, yes.
Thank you, Riley Nicholls
